This months meeting had another different layout, this time with the bridge sections angled and not quite side by side, like many bridges in the real world.

It seemed a bit quiet with lots of room to drive maybe it was just the way the layout was this month. Looking at the figures I was surprised to see that we had over 40 drivers present and during packing up I spotted quite a few people with more than one truck. Once again we had people travelling to the meeting from the Midlands, Up the M4 and down the M5 from somerset Devon and the far reaches of Cornwall.  We also welcomed some new attendees and new club members so Hi to those and hope you enjoy the hobby. Thank you all for travelling and making these the meetings what they are and with the relaxed atmosphere that they have.

Once again we have the old favourites but a good mix of new builds as well. I brought along a couple of conveyor belts and a powered hopper to this meet. First time out so a bit of an adventure. The 20mm rubbers chunks I have proved a little too large so I am on the lookout for some a bit smaller then hopefully you can all get in on the action with it. I know it was the first time for a number of people but since I was a bit busy on and off I am pretty sure I did not meet everyone, but I hope you had a chat with someone from our crew. Thanks to Ian for twisting Josh Herberts arm, Josh arrived with his replica Scania 650 S.

This months meeting was, in a way, preparation for our Christmas meeting. We announced our Grand Christmas draw with prizes of a 770s kit and Astec vouchers for £50, 25, 20, 15 and 10, plus any donated prizes. There are still plenty of numbers left so grab a square while you can. Also we will use the Christmas meeting to do some judging and make some awards and hopefully have a surprise as well.

Enough from me and on to the pictures. Can you spot your truck?
