This months featured truck belongs to Spike Biddiscombe. This was Spikes first visit to us and he was a little surprised to win the raffle for this. He and some of his friends have just started modelling and running trucks and they are a great bunch.
Enough, Spike's truck is a King hauler that he purchased along with a trailer. The chassis has been extended by around 1.5 inches and the stacks have been replaced with stainless versions but other than that it is a stock truck and plain black. A perfect blank canvas. It is fitted with an MFU1 so has the benefit of sound and lights. The controller is an aging 27mhz one and is due for an upgrade.
The trailer is a Carson box trailer and had a panther based decal set on the side. Spike was not a fan of the words on it, so they have been airbrushed out. Other than that, it is a stock build. With the right truck this can be a good way to start in the hobby and this looks to be a good one. We look forward to seeing the changes, and the next truck too :)
