This months featured truck belongs to  Duncan Perryman he also pulled the number out for us. I was watching and honestly no fix!

Duncan built the truck on a Volvo log truck chassis and use a Hercules Hobby Scania cab (the one with opening doors) as a basis.

He then added a 4 series front end conversion.  The door hinges had to be redone to make them work properly though.

The downside of opening doors is that you have to do a full interior, which he did with the help of some 3D printed parts. The pictures we have don't do the interior any justice but he has detailed the build elsewhere.

The truck has a working tag lift, all alloy wheels & Michelin tyres. Scratch built side boxes & flat bed deck. The rear sports an airbrushed mural of Trelawney's Army during the Cornish rebellion of 1497.

Th trailer was started 5 weeks ago (same construction technique as the truck) it is still a WIP, but does roll

Sound light and ESC are provided by a Beier SFR1 unit.

Duncan says the truck started of as a tribute to Cornwall but developed into a tribute to his late Grandad (His Reg plate is on the dashboard).

It is a lovely truck and I would recommend a closer inspection if you can get one.
